# Cortex API 2.27.1 (R3.3.5)

During the staged rollout of Cortex 2.27.0, an issue was uncovered. No production studies were impacted. The issue was addressed in an updated patch for Cortex 2.27.1. The release schedule now reflects the rollout of the updated release.

### Updates

* **Cortex API:** Change from 2.26.2 to to 2.27.1 &#x20;

This release is a planned upgrade that has been deployed for all existing and upcoming studies. We do not expect there to be any downtime associated with this update.

This upgrade contains updates to back-end services that do not impact the end user experience. All back-end services are tested and validated in accordance with our standard operating procedures before being deployed. There is no GxP risk. No additional testing, training, or documentation is needed for this upgrade.
